Business Class travel is becoming extremely popular as a way for travelers to try out luxury travel without paying the ultra-high prices of first-class cabin fares. Business class cabin amenities are luxurious, comfortable, and often more affordable than people think. Business class seats are extra wide, often lay completely flat, and provide enough space to work comfortably on your flight. Business class cabin amenities include gourmet food, soft blankets and noise canceling headphones. Business class seats are always larger than coach and economy seats and always afford travelers more privacy than coach and economy too.

At the Airport

One of the most overlooked aspects of traveling business class is the time that you will save at the airport before you even board your flight. Business class travelers on Delta Airlines flights enjoy express check-in at the airport which helps you check-in quickly and easily. The lines are always shorter than coach and economy check-in lines. These lines are also available to travelers through TSA security checkpoints.

Business class travelers on a Delta Airlines flight can use the Delta Sky Club lounges that offer hot meals, a variety of snacks, and an array of desserts for first class passengers. At these lounges, you’ll find lots of different seating arrangements. You can sit at the bar and order a cocktail or glass of wine or relax at a table until it’s time to board your flight. The attendant at the lounge will check you in and answer any questions you might have. If Delta Airlines does not operate a lounge at the airport, business class passengers can use a Sky Tea lounge available through Delta partnership with other air carriers.

At the lounges, you can charge your electronic devices, send emails, or just relax and finish planning your time off. Most lounges offer spa-like restrooms where you can shower after a long flight or just refresh yourself for your upcoming journey. Other lounges offer services including massages, clothes pressing, haircuts, and spa services like facials and skin treatments. Check the amenities offered at your departure airport prior to arriving. Many of the services offered require reservations in advance.

Priority Boarding

Delta Comfort+, Delta Airline’s version of business class allows you to receive Sky Priority boarding. Sky Priority boarding allows you to board the aircraft before the other passengers. Preboarding allows you to settle into your seat at your leisure. You can store your belongings and get settled without a line of people rushing you.

Business Class Cabin Amenities

Delta Comfort+ provides up to 4” of extra legroom and a dedicated overhead bin space specifically for your carryon items. Sky Priority boarding is available on select international and domestic flights. Other amenities found in the business class cabin include a spacious seat and more personal space. Delta Comfort+ seats are configured to give you up to 3 more inches of legroom on domestic flights and up to 4 more inches on international flights. This extra space makes trips more comfortable and provides enough room to stretch your legs.

Combine the extra legroom with the ease of your own overhead bin and you can store your belongings and relax during your flight with plenty of storage and personal space. Flight attendants will provide a pillow, blanket, complimentary headset, and amenity kit on long-haul international flights. You can pass the time by watching movies, HBO,  or Showtime, or listen to music and play games with Delta Studio.

Food served in the business class cabin is made fresh and accompanied by premium snacks. Offerings include fresh fruit and premium snacks on routes over 900 miles when meal service is not available. On flights over 350 miles, Starbucks coffee, beer, wine and spirits are served to guests over the age of 21.
