Etihad Airways is the second largest airline in the United Arab Emirates after Emirates. It is headquartered in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi near Abu Dhabi’s International Airport. It is a relatively new airline as it was only created in 2003. It operates both domestically and international destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa, USA and Australia.

Etihad Airways is a renowned flag carrier of Abu Dhabi. It was initiated as the second flag carrier of UAE in 2003 by Royal Decree issued by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who wanted an airline for Abu Dhabi. His chief personal pilot Darwish Alkhoory established the airline.
Etihad Airways is headquartered in Khalifa City near Abu Dhabi International Airport. It has a mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircrafts comprising Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-8, Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A380-800, Airbus A340-600 and Airbus A330-200

It has full-flat seats in business class with a pitch of 1.85m and with aisle access to provide guaranteed comfortable experience. Each seat has a personal video screen that is 15 inches diagonally. They have over 600 hours of entertainment options.
They offer a “Flying Nanny” for unaccompanied children. Etihad has flying nannies who provide in-flight child care assistance on long-haul flights. They offer goodie bags filled with games, activity books and stickers. A great service to make sure your child is taken care of on a flight by themselves.
Traveling with children is also super easy on Etihad Airways. They are very family friendly and do everything possible to make sure the experience is positive for everyone. You can pre-book baby meals and baby bassinets. Complimentary strollers are provided at Abu Dhabi International Airport. And, they offer family play rooms at their airport lounges.

Much known for big-screen entertainment in the sky, Etihad Airways provides seven channels of Live TV and games on E-BOX. Special collection of animated movies, cartoons, music and interactive games are available for children. All channels have parental lock feature to block content.
